【RSS Story 同義字？】：RSStoHTML、RSS Syndication、RSS channel、RSS Aggregator（RSS 彙整）、Synthetic feeds、新聞聯播、(前明日報)個人新聞台 逗陣新聞網 的輪播看板、聯播網、新聞聚合器、新聞交換、交換日記、時刻表、匯組……

  • 這裡主要說明透過網站介面 RSS 彙整的方法，至於使用上還有一種選擇，通常是經由 RSS 閱讀軟體，選擇訂閱自己想要看的網誌或新聞頻道。
  • 先看看 RSS 網站串連的應用實例
台灣部落格 的左邊 RSS News Channel （ RSS 新聞頻道），列出了依照時間排列來自不同網誌 Blog 的最新文章的「作者名稱」、「文章日期」、以及「文章連結」。

2001年5月，藝立協（elixus.org）的成員在定期聚會時，談到了平時要看的網站太多、資訊太雜，焦點難以集中的這個問題。如果能將每個人關心的資訊來源，包括郵遞論壇（mailing list）、新聞群組（newsgroup）、BBS 看板等等，彙集到同一個網站，讓大家可以交換眉批、共同討論，不是很有趣的事嗎？...
