Google Desktop Search 的Plug-in: Larry's Gmail Indexer，若將該帳號純粹訂閱Google Alert或maillist，則可以在GDS 搜尋的Email那項產生類似新知的典藏效果。不過啟用Gmail帳號POP3後，試用時一直出現該Plugin無法登入取信進而建立索引的狀態。
