什麼是 Blog/WebLog

Blogging: Creating Instant Content for the Web
- Blog/Weblog/網誌：將資訊以簡明的方式、按時間順序（chronologically）加以排列的網頁(Scott, P., 2001)。網誌可為日記（diary）、日誌（journal）、新知或其他網站連結。對岸稱之為「网志」。又稱Weblog, Web log. See also: blog - OneLook Dictionary Search
- Blogger：名詞：網誌的人，對岸稱之為「博客」(但也有人認為不是博客 from Isaac Mao(毛向辉))。
- Blogging：
- 寫網誌，由於Blogger社群迅速地增長，所以也時候Blog也當作動詞使用。
- 也可能是指http://blogger.com 使得blog廣為推廣

- 具備較低的進入門檻與學習曲線。

- 透過回溯引用及迴響功能，讓每位閱聽人都可以參與議題的討論。
- 議題經由對話，形成輿論，進而產生改變社會的力量。
- 此外，RSS還提供了較友善的訊息傳播方式，解決電子郵件傳播資訊帶來的困擾。
