Convert pdf to text (txt) file
Installation[edit]
On macOS[1]:
- brew install poppler
On Ubuntu:
- sudo apt install poppler-utils
On Windows:
Verify the installation[edit]
Run one of the following commands in your terminal:
- which pdftotext — displays the executable path
- pdftotext -v — shows the version number
Usage[edit]
pdftotext [options] [PDF-file [text-file]]
