Backwards Links(或稱backlinks, reversed links, referer, inbound links, link in, Inlinks)即逆向連結，瞭解哪些其他網頁連結到這個網頁
使用目的
- 了解討論脈絡: (1)尋找該文章的相關討論、(2)透過時間趨勢圖可以了解該文章(議題)的生命週期。
- 了解部落客(blogger)對於某網站服務/商品的評論
- 了解該連結的受歡迎程度
- 反制Trackback spam
