自訂搜尋服務(Customized Search Engine, CSE; 客製化搜尋或稱跨站搜尋)：
- 限定搜尋範圍
- 在特定網域內多個網站進行跨站/聯合搜尋(federated search)
- 若僅設定單一網站，則變成站內搜尋(Site Search)
- 自訂網站標籤條件，可進一步縮小搜尋結果的範圍。
影響搜尋結果的原因
- 使用site變數，事先測試索引狀況 例 (site:wiki.planetoid.info或檢查該站Robots.txt)
- 若網址是IP形式，Google co-op 將無法列入搜尋範圍
現有CSE服務網站
Google Co-op (即時建立自訂搜尋引擎, 登入管理): 可匯入OPML格式RSS feeds清單。單一CSE有16個條件(refinements)限制。- ResultR.com - One search, many useful results 僅提供預設的網站清單供選擇
- 已停止服務 Yahoo pipes: 可整合多個RSS feeds並進行多種條件的篩選或排序。但由於搜尋結果筆數的限制，比較適合作為資訊蒐集使用。 (2007-03-13)
