Build an image from a Dockerfile

• docker build [OPTIONS] PATH | URL | -
• podman build [options] [context] e.g. podman build -f ./Dockerfile

Display the log of the container

• docker logs [OPTIONS] CONTAINER
• podman logs [options] container [container…] e.g podman logs <CONTAINER_ID_OR_NAME>

List the images

• docker image ls [OPTIONS] [REPOSITORY[:TAG]]
• podman images [options] [image]

List the containers

List running containers

• docker container ls [OPTIONS]
• podman ps

List all containers

• docker container ls -a
• podman ps -a

Start the container from image

• docker run [OPTIONS] IMAGE [COMMAND] [ARG...]
