查詢想要的網域名稱是否可以申請

** .tw 結尾的domain name: [http://rs.twnic.net.tw/ TWNIC網域名稱註冊系統]([http://whois.twnic.net.tw/])首頁的查詢服務
** google domain.com ([http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=whois+yahoo.com&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai= ex])
** domaintools.com ex: http://whois.domaintools.com/yahoo.com
** [https://whois.icann.org/en WHOIS Search | ICANN WHOIS] {{access | date=2018-12-27}} 需要通過 Google 檢核碼驗證
** [http://www.whois365.com/tw 全球 WHOIS 查詢] ex: [http://www.whois365.com/tw/domain/whois365.com whois: whois365.com]{{access | date=2012-02-11}}

* 提供網域名稱的廠商通常會提供這樣的服務，例如[http://www.register.com/ Register.com], [http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/domains/ Yahoo]等查詢 .net, .org, .info等網域。以Register.com為例，查詢www.journal.com，查詢結果會列出所有 .com .net .org, .info, 等.均為無法使用(Unavailable)。在journal.org該項，點選whois，可以看到它由Public Online Group註冊，2006/3/1將會失效(expired)。如果2006/3/1它不跟網域名稱廠商續約，網址將會空出來讓其他人可以使用。
